Model: TP-Link TL-WN727N ver 3.2 Chipset: Ralink 5370 (I think) Vendor and Product IDs: VID 148F & PID 5370. Has no official drivers, so I followed those steps and it works very well now. 1- Disable SIP. (boot into recovery mode - open a terminal - enter 'csrutil disable' - reboot ) 2- Install Bear extender wifi utility (BearExtender-5.4.dmg), It has 3 packages inside the DMG, u will have to reboot twice in the process, but don't reboot the third time. Wait till u do the next step then reboot. 3- Install RT2870 USBWirelessDriver KExt using 'Kext Utility' or a similar app. After that u will notice there is an icon of 5 dots on the top bar like this picture: click on it to open the 'bear extender' wifi utility, and u can search for networks, add them to favorites, connect, disconnect and everything.

Dec 11, 2013  tp link w321g works great on SnowLeopard 10.6.7, im using iatkos s3v2 then update combo 10.6.7, using the ralink drivers, simply download from his official web and you're done, i dont use any kext!!! Any question about it just let me know.

If u want to add a static IP or a custom DNS, u're gonna have to do it from System preferences - Network - 802.11n wlan USB. Then edit whatever u want and click apply. I will upload screenshots for this step when I boot back into OSX. I have attached the needed KExt.

I am trying to use Logic Pro X on a 2012 Mac Mini I have, but I currently have Snow Leopard OS X 10.6.8, and will need to update to Sierra 10.12. Would real time scanner be harmful for mac. However, I realize I need to update to a newer OS such as El Capitan in order to be able to update to Sierra.

Except I cannot sign into the App Store. I am greeted with an error message along the lines of 'this computer or device cannot be verified.' So I did some digging and it seems to be because my Ethernet port and Wifi don't work. I use a USB Wifi adapter to get around this but now it seems like I finally have to fix it for good so I can get into the App Store to get these updates I need. In System Preferences Network, I do not see Ethernet or Wifi listed. Only my USB Wifi Adapter and Firewire. In System Profiler Hardware Ethernet Cards, it says, 'This computer does not appear to have any PCI Ethernet cards installed.'

I'm pulling my hair out over here to get Logic Pro X on this computer, that's all that I really want, and that's all I want this computer to do. If you can help, God bless your soul.
